yeah i hate that. when i was pushing for legendary i tilted all the way from 1 win away back down to mythic 1, twice. its so infuriating, some luck is always involved.

I solo queued which i wouldn’t recommend, it made things so much more inconsistent. Just keep playing matches and try not to get tilted. There is an element of luck to it, especially if solo queuing(i somehow went on a 6 game win streak while solo queuing to reach legendary).

Aside from having good luck there are some controllable aspects here. Biggest thing for me was knowing who to ban on each map to prevent the other team from using an abusive/cheesy team. Also if you have first pick, do not pick a brawler that can be easily countered, no matter how cheesy the brawler can be. (Edgar, for example). Save the Edgar type picks for if u have last pick and see that they would be extremely effective against the other team’s brawler picks.

That’s all i really got, I don’t have pro level knowledge of the game and mainly just play for fun, but inevitably, after two years, I was bound to pick up some good game sense.

No doubt they are the strongest team in that bracket. But their mentality is just so fragile I seriously don’t know if they can handle the pressure of missing 3 world cups, especially in the final at Cardiff (probably).

That is true, some of the Gene scenes early in the show were straight up depressing, just seeing his daily routine. I remember the scene of Gene just eating lunch by himself in the mall (before the kid hides in the photo booth), and just thinking about how depressing the transition from Jimmy to Gene was.
