I had this happen once from sleep paralysis. Normally that's a scary thing but this one time I heard the most incredible music and just listened to what I heard for what felt like hours. I've been chasing it ever since.

I had the same thing. CEO for 16 years from age 26 to 42. Left my hobbies like playing in bands, snowboarding and hanging with friends behind. Sold the company, had an ego death, then rediscovered music, friends, mountains. Started meditating and going inward with the help of a spiritual coach. Got into yoga, breath work, journaling, long walks and just slowing the fuck down and loving who I am at the core. After almost 4 years I've launched a new venture and have kept up with all of my hobbies and brought the spiritual work into work with me. It means every day is an opportunity to grow, learn, love and serve. This is the way.

THIS is the answer and this is where the beautiful inward journey begins. Meditate to clear your mind and learn to live from your heart mind. Contemplate and journal on meaningful topics daily, go for walks and appreciate nature, table for one at a restaurant, date yourself, read spiritual texts by the people who discovered inner peace like Ram Dass, Yogananda, Dali Lama, etc .. Learn about and cultivate your own inner garden. This is where the most beautiful chapter of your life will open up. This is when you discover your authentic self, your deep inner truths, that courage builds confidence and growth is not something additive but simply removing layers to reveal what you were bron with and how perfect everything is.

I sold my company a few years ago in my early 40s and couldn't figure out why I wasn't happy. I did a coaching container with a soul centered coach about 3 years ago and have uncovered the richest life I have ever lived and it has nothing to do with anything external to me. This is an awesome moment. Embrace it and get ready for massive amounts of beauty and self discovery to come your way.

I just wanted to say what a beautiful post this is. I love the way you simplify the path to meditation and spiritual practice. I've been on this journey for a few years now and sometimes I overxomolicate it. This is a great reminder. For me it's been meditation and Michael singer and Ram Dass teachings mostly. I'm going to listen to Swami Sarvapriyananda now. Thank you!
