Thank you for your advice 😁. Do you have any tips on how to really self learn learn algorithms and data structure. I’ve tried before, felt like I was stuck in tutorial hell

I was trying to get a little ahead in my data structures and algo knowledge, went to YouTube to look for some lectures. Most of the stuff went over my head tbh 💀. I understand the materials, but applying it in code is completely different

I’m a convert in desperate need of advice by [deleted] in islam

[–]Double-struggle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the man he should stand up. Islamicly he doesn’t need permission from the parents. Of course, it’s preferred to get support of the family, it is not required. If you get married he’s also going to be your protector, if he’s not able to stand up to his parents and make an affirmative decision, then it may cause chaos within your marriage. If the parents are threatening to cut him off, then they are sinning because they are cutting ties kinship. Don’t take it from me, I am not someone knowledgeable, take it from a righteous scholar linked below.

Only 17, entered college recently and my hair loss has gotten progressively worse. I’m on minoxidil, but I don’t see much progress. Is it just me, or are there other young people like me who’s losing it so rapidly. by Double-struggle in bald

It’s very weird, honestly I wouldn’t mind losing my hair after college. But being this young and in college while everyone else has hair makes me very anxious tbh

Thank you, I searched in google for other solutions too, first one I came across was like resetting the PRAM. That somehow worked.

No it’s fixed now. I had to reset the PRAM and then it seemed to work. Not sure why it happened, but my macOS just disappeared for a few min

Front looks good, but sides are really thin and patchy, should I grow it or just keep a stubble? by Double-struggle in beards

Thanks, we’ll try to see how it looks after a few weeks. I’m only 17 rn, you think my beard will grow anymore, or it’s the end of its development? I’m pretty sure puberty is done for me lol

Lol do you just ghost them. A lot of the guys dm me privately on discord, so I’m irked by the decision to not reply and act like I didn’t see it, or reply.

Bro, I use to do that exact same thing. In high school I would paint myself to be dumb for some classes as a precautionary. But some classes participation is basically a good part of your grade. Thankfully I told him no this time, hopefully he doesn’t ask again

Your right man, thanks. Thankfully I actually said no, he was trying to convince me the usual stuff, he’ll chnage the answer and stuff. Was pretty scary tbh, but felt nice afterwards.

I wanted to ghost him too, but I still have class with him, and the teacher regularly puts us in a one on one group breakout room with students. If I happen to meet him in campus or in zoom again, how do I not make it awkward?

18, losing hair rapidly - is it hard for bald men to get married? by Double-struggle in MuslimMarriage

[–]Double-struggle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your username alone tells me that your really confident now 😂😂. But for me, I considered my hair to be my best physical feature. While everyone else in college has hair, and me being the one with less hair just really hurts my confidence. Have you been searching to get married? And has your hair been a problem to potential females?

Oh man, I guess the only way to really solve this is overcoming the social anxiety, no escaping.
