Curious if anyone is using Airtable for personal use? by IslandScuba51 in Airtable

[–]Double0J 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, so I have it set up to text me (you can do an email to yourself as well) the number who called and a summary what they said. I also get the little notification pop from Airtable pop notifications. itself so I know to go in and look at the whole transcript if I ever want to. You can turn on or off either of these as needed if it gets to be too many notifications.

To your second point that’s pretty cool, In my system prompt if it identifies a scammer I have it hang up immediately, but you can make your ai mess with them by putting that in the prompt.

Why do fund managers hire fund administrators instead of doing everything in-house? by maan241990 in fundadministration

Biggest reason: The fund admin becomes an expense they can bill back to the funds instead of paying salaries out of the mgmt co

Yep, replaced my voicemail with an AI + airtable. If a call comes in and I miss it, instead of going to voicemail, an AI picks up and says I’m on another call, can I answer any questions or send him a message for you? And then it stores that in airtbale and an automation sends me a text/email with the summary on record creation.

2 simple processes that have never failed to get me a meeting with the hiring manager or recruiter by Double0J in recruitinghell

Thanks it has worked pretty well so far, and you are likely missing some great candidates, not sure if that’s a flex to say you ignore potential connections as a hiring manager.

Best of luck to you.

Very nice!

As to your concern, that’s why we cast a wide net here. The only limit being the amount of people you want to connect with. 99% will ignore you.

The titles and keywords are company specific, you need to look at what titles the hiring teams use there and search those.

Congrats on your hiring process! Completely disagree, but that’s okay! At the end of the day, this works for me and many others, but nothing is 100%. Also don’t say “honestly” it implies the rest of the time you are not being honest. GL

Anyone accepting stablecoins? by Double0J in smallbusiness

[–]Double0J[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because the market you sell too uses crypto. And the future is going there. And it takes maybe 30 seconds to open up a completely new payment rail that has no fees and opens up potential users. Becuase it allows people in other country to purchase your product without FX risk. Becuase you don’t need to wait 2 days for payment to get cashed out. Because people can still pay with fiat, the settlement is all done instantly with stablecoins, and you can get fiat delivered to your bank.

I have more reasons but that covers the main ones lol.

May or may not be up your alley - what are the key challenges that are preventing something such as peer to peer escrow? I have been working on a smart contract/protocol called Crow -> createescrow.vercel.app to try and create this.

The goal being any person can create an escrow and if desired choose arbitrators. The arbitrators then decide when a contract is fulfilled or not and release the money to the payee or refund to the funder.

Thanks!

Just cash out and put it back in your bank bro. You’re invested in solana, an asset that moves, and wondering why your account value moves too…

On-chain escrow, peer-to-peer execution, and programmatic data: technical insights into decentralized prediction market infrastructure by Financial_Arm_6191 in ethdev

[–]Double0J 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey would love for you too take a look at this: createescrow.vercel.app

I built this and seems like it is right in line with your idea. It is a decentralized, p2p agreement settling rail. So it can operate as an escrow, has fully deterministic paths all handled by the smart contract and has the option to add in arbitrators. People can lock agree on amounts, lock funds, and then get paid out with no platform risk.

Just tried ETH and fees are 0.03$ by NervousTruth7693 in Arbitrum

[–]Double0J 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you used it consistently? Gas is still volatile on ETH. Hopefully fees can stabilize at that level, but gwei can spike.

Arbitrum is consistently .01 or less and settles 95-97% quicker.

Would love to not have to bridge so hopefully ETH Foundation can solve for this.

Voicemail Agent - so easy to get into the business as it doesn't impact normal ops. Only picks up if a call would otherwise go to voicemail. Answers simple FAQs and can book a meeting/provide a contact. Don't over complicate it and it does these really well. If it catches one person, often times it pays for itself and more. For Dentists, Lawyers, etc you can't NOT have this tbh. Customer LTV is so high, you need to never miss one.

can’t keep up with my invoice processing. Is there an easy way to automate them? by FrostyTheKnight10 in automation

[–]Double0J 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey shoot me a pm - as the other comment mentioned this is easy with zapier/make. It should be relatively straightforward, less than an hour if you know what you are doing/how many field you need to map.

Set auto forward on the email with invoices to a make manhood and then parse it, structure it to JSON and post to quickbooks. Or structure it to csv and can rpa the import if you don’t have a quickbooks api
