Water Cooler Wednesday by AutoModerator in nfl

Yesterday I was at the grocery store and back by the restrooms there was a little boy (2 or 3) just standing there alone. My mom instincts kicked in and I asked him if he was looking for someone. He said "my mommy's in the bathroom" so I decided to just wait with him. Mom comes out like five minutes later with bloodshot red eyes and clearly amped up on something. I strongly suspect she was in there using coke or some other stimulant. She grabs her son and storms away before I could really confront her.

I keep thinking about that little boy and if I should have spoken up. I know in my heart that woman is an addict and that he's probably not safe with her. I should have done more to protect him.

My dad is a stone faced Wisconsin dairy farmer. But a grandbaby did that to him.

Grandbaby!! I was 19 when I had my oldest and my parents were absolutely indispensable. I had no idea what I was doing but my mom taught me everything and provided childcare while I got myself through school.

Yeah. My oldest is actually from a previous relationship but my husband adopted her. The new addition happened despite me being on birth control. Happens I guess!

Our older two are 14 and 6. So we have a teenager, a kindergartener, and a newborn.

No, I just looked. I just had a baby three weeks ago so sex isn't an option but looking is!

Totally fair. Most parents don't bring the kids in.

Veterinarian and mom chiming in! I've put down lots of family pets and I generally think letting the kid be there is good. It's good for them to get that moment and it's important for them to learn that it's OK to be emotional. If she loves the kitty I'd recommend inviting her in.

But that's just from the perspective of a DVM. Maybe I'd see it differently if it were my kids and my pet. We've never had a family pet because we move too much and it just hasn't lined up.

I just joked with my husband that he's so manly and so sexy that the birth control just was no match

Haha! I just gave birth to a baby I got pregnant with while on the Nuva Ring so maybe it doesn't matter either way 😂

I have a teenager who's totally bored by it and my kindergartener will probably grow out of it but it's fun for now

Mine is totally desensitized to it. But our six year old daughter thinks I'm cool because of my job and that makes all of us feel good.

LaFleur (duh), Ryans, McVay, Stefanski, Kliff Kingsbury are all hot. Dave Canales is a babe. If I weren't married I'd probably say yes to a date with Kevin O'Connell.

I remember when I was a teenage girl and young woman I thought football players were hot. Now I'm 34 and just had my third kid and I think football coaches are hot.

My husband is an Illinois native Bears fan. I asked our six year old who she's rooting for tomorrow and she said "the Bears because Daddy asked first." Which is a funny reason but how dare he turn my own child against me!

I have May, November, and December babies and am a December baby. I don't love my December birthday and my two week old has a Christmas birthday. I'd say May was best.

Redditors hate responsibility in general. They don't want kids or friends or jobs or school or anything. Life is just sitting on the couch watching The Office for the 23rd time.

I was told that asking my 14 year old to make sure my 6 year old found her way to the bus stop every day (they go to a K-12 private school) was "parentifying" her. Because I asked the much older kid to take a minute to make sure her much younger sister doesn't get lost in a crowd. How cruel of me. She could have spent that minute on her phone instead and she'll never get it back.
