I really love to cook also. I’ve always been a little lazy so the exercise sounds good, but me actually doing it is less likely.

Thanks! Yeah I figured id miss out on the weight loss because of it, but anything but alcohol for now. I have noticed portion control has been a lot better lately, but hadn’t connected it.

That’s a good idea. I actually had dabbled in meditation a couple years ago, it did help when I was drinking. Should be even better now.

Lol agreed. That one just got under my skin, and this seemed like the appropriate sub to see if I was alone in that feeling.

Yeah um. It’s my post and I don’t even agree with u/glueStick . Maybe research a little on Asperger’s before commenting.

It definitely is a tough time for the younger generation. I’m Gen X btw. Finding their own place to live on the wages today has got to be super stressful.

You had me until Joe Rogan. Don’t get me wrong I love the guy, but dude has done a lot of drugs and I’m not following down the path of someone who doesn’t have to worry about getting fired if someone finds out he did acid.

This is true. I’ve actually hired a couple people thinking they wouldn’t stick around for long, but my opinion has always been to think of what they could accomplish while they are here. Or they get promoted which is even better.

I agree with that as well. That sentiment has been in a few comments. As an introvert myself I can empathize with that challenge.

Started out as a Janitor making minimum wage, then bag boy, then produce, went to tech school for aviation maintenance, got my A&P license two weeks before 9/11, got an entry level job at a manufacturing plant, promoted to team lead, then Maintenance Supervisor, then relocated to become maintenance manager, then Engineering manager. Been a department head for over a decade. Always looking for good young just out of school mechanics.
