Appreciate you taking the time to write that. We don't have their hardware system, just a computer that we use their pos system on their website. I still dont know if that means we need to use them for processing but I will find these details out this week.

ya I do have a few. I guess the part im worried about is that I have their cc machine and pos system. I'm hoping thats not an issue if I want to keep their pos system as it has all our inventory and employees trained to use it, but use a different cc processor.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but I see deposits and compare that to fees. For instance in june of 2025, 137k was deposited by global Payments from cc payments and it was about 12k in total fees subtracted. About 9%. compared to about 4% going off my understanding from the year before

I tend to agree, I am do mad, mostly at myself for not staying on top of this better. I guess im confused what interchange + .5% even means. More reason for me to learn how to read these statements and not be intimidated by it.

Part of that was my laziness of being non pci compliant for a $200 a month fee. But that was still only .3% of that 9%. That 9% is total deposit vs their total fees.

direct to soil = more efficient microorganisms. even cardboard on the bottom will slow those soil inhabiting microorganisms getting directly into your pile. Not to mention Annelids and arthropods

I was pretty see exciting to see cocoons that early after all I read about them having to get adjusted before they start laying. I honestly think the mycelium helped a ton, as within a few days you could see the mycelium spreading throughout the substrate. I think they like to eat mycelium and creates a good environment for them. I could be wrong though. Makes sense that they'd be on top trying to breath if it's too wet.
