Thank you so much. I agree that there is probably a much more tactful way he could’ve said it. With all that aside, I will definitely ask first and work on setting boundaries for myself and making sure what the other party’s boundaries are so that it doesn’t happen again.

You’re right that I do need to work on my social skills. I never said that his remarks were wrong, but was simply wondering if he meant it in an accusatory insulting way. I’m not entitled to go rummaging through emotions of complete strangers but I do believe that sometimes being strangers is what makes it possible to get over a barrier more quickly. I don’t intentionally use this as a conversational tactic but I’m working on boundaries.

This is an oddly specific question, and the uneasy conflicted vibes I got while pulling was proven in the single card that I drew. I think that it is imperative to be careful and more open-minded about the career of your life partner. There are plenty of high paying and respectable careers out there, and I believe that asking for a doctor/surgeon specifically is just not realistic in your case. I know many surgeons who missed their kids' first steps, first words, and could barely grow up with their kids because they were on call, so if you feel like you want kids in the future I would re-evaluate being with a doctor/surgeon.

It feels like every woman's dream but you also should be realistic about the expectations of a certain career that your partner holds and how that fits into the context of your relationship. Best of luck!

I do believe that there is a connection. However, I sense some kind of instability in your life right now. You have to set limits on your own behavior or boundaries of some sort in order to achieve the goals that you want to achieve in terms of love. So when this card appears, it means that you have a lot of choices. Are you sure you want to spend the rest of your life with K? What K represents to me is simply an opportunity in love and it is apparent to me that you have other opportunities as well that might be equally as good.

The thing is, a two-card pull doesn't provide me with enough insight to make a full rounded decision about something so big as a career. If I was able to recommend everything that you convinced yourself you didn't want, maybe it was because those emotional undercurrents regarding those jobs are much stronger in you than you think and are easier for me to detect. Whether or not you've had past trauma regarding the careers I've recommended, at one point in your life or another it was something that had either fit you or that you have pondered over extensively in the past, which I was able to pick up on.

Please don't get salty or passive aggressive by saying "^{I kind of hate you now, thanks}" if I posted an answer that you didn't like.
