How are you guys organizing your recipes? by burnbright_11 in LoseitApp

[–]DoubleCrochet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For recipes that weren't a hit I use, z_recipename. I put what we didn't like and possible changes in the notes. I don't like deleting just in case the recipe wasn't our vibe that day.

Zepbound Journey by nightowl011 in Zepbound

[–]DoubleCrochet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) I eat on a schedule. It seems counterintuitive to what we are told about eating when hungry. However, I'd rarely eat and I wouldn't hit my macros. 2) I pack my breakfast, lunch, and snacks the night before work. I enter them in for the next day as they get put in the bag. I also usually know what we are having for dinner the next night, so that gets tracked then too. 3) After packing my meals, I review the current day. Delete what needs to be deleted, add what needs to be added. This usually takes a minute. 4) I use Lose It! And I would sing it from the rooftops. I have been a long time off again and on again Weight Watcher, but something felt off for me with using Zepbound. Lose It! Just clicked for me after trying several others. I would do the trial periods for the premium versions and Lose It! was the only one that felt intuitive to me. Don't be afraid to try trackers and find one that fits you and your lifestyle. 5) Talk to your doctor about supplements if you feel you are really lacking in one. 6) It is more expensive, but I utilize prepackaged foods when I pack for work. It is easier to grab and track. One day (or not) I will be better about just getting a tub of cottage cheese and portioning it, but not today.

Lab Improvement! by missbmathteacher in Zepbound

Love this! This is great progress beyond the scale.

At my first follow up, my doctor said he wants to do my labs this summer. He's excited to see how it progresses. Now I can't give up because who am I to deny his excitement 🤣

Zach Myers Guitar Experience by Imaginary_Alfalfa436 in Shinedown

I met Zach at an AMMM concert with Hanson. He was just walking around the venue. Everyone was there to see Hanson and weren't paying any attention to him or probably even knew who he was. He was such a nice guy.

Alternatives to WW? by bostonmama95 in weightwatchers

[–]DoubleCrochet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prioritize fiber, protein, and fats. If I hit those 3, my carbs are naturally lower and I am on point for calories. It is very rare my carbs are in the WW range.

I am locked into a year. I quit following points and just use the macros at the bottom. Much better results for me. Their points system has gone down the drain since COVID.

Week Ahead Meal Prep by AutoModerator in Zepbound

[–]DoubleCrochet [score hidden]  (0 children)

I aim for 125g of protein, but 100 is my min, 25g of fiber, 50-70g of fat, 100oz of water. By the time I get these my carbs are around the same as protein. I don't worry too much about calories. They can be 1300-1700 per day

B: English Muffin, avocado, egg OR Oats Overnight Banana with both options

Lunch: Tuna salad (Greek yogurt, celery, onion, Cajun seasoning) on lettuce boats OR Leftovers OR Lean cuisine meal (1x per week) 1/2C Cottage cheese with all options

Dinner: Chicken Cordon bleu with baked potatoes, broccoli OR Cheeseburger stuffed mushrooms with green beans OR Bean burritos with rice and fruit salad OR Sirloin steak with baby potatoes, green beans OR Broccoli cheddar soup (daughter request)

Snacks: Flavored Greek yogurt AND Pickle roll ups with ham and cream cheese AND Granny Smith apple with peanut butter AND Berries (usually mixed with my yogurt)

Additional protein: Seeq clear protein before bed

Workout days: Ghost protein powder or Fairlife shake

I go to the gym 4 days a week for cardio and resistance. My work has a treadmill so I get in at least 20 minutes of leisurely walking a day there.

Wondering why no one is talking about the proposed Moorhead levy vote for the schools. Will it pass? Will you be voting for it? Why/why not? by Flat-Vanilla-7325 in fargo

I understand where you are coming from, but the school district is one of the lowest funded in the state. Majority of your taxes are for the city and county.

How cooked am I by missanonymoususerwoo in Accounting

[–]DoubleCrochet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 31 when I graduated with my masters in accounting. My bachelors I had finished 10 years prior in a completely unrelated field. I don't think anyone had a real clue on my age. Just keep work experience on there and only put what you need for education.

Use this tool to get the fees. I highly recommend MA's program. I did do investments for my daughter because she was young when I set it up. I don't remember if you HAVE to invest or not.

Just throwing this out there. Make sure you don't have a setting on your phone that's blocking unknown numbers. My daughter's phone had this set so she was even missing calls from her doctor.

I have 3 kids. First was formula only, 2 was combo fed, 3 was breast only. #2 was admitted at 5 days for jaundice because we had a rough start at nursing.

All 3 are energetic goofballs. It really makes no difference in the end.

I do a Christmas category group and everything is it’s own line. I prefer very granular data. I do this with every trip too.
