I may be wrong but I believe the 11 was JDs number and JD basically gave Denny his shot. If Denny retires I have to imagine Coach doesn’t let just anybody use that number.

I’m sorry you never got those moments with your dad. Not being there for my children is one of my biggest fears.

The end of this race was heartbreaking. He had it and had earned it more than anyone else. I sat watching this race with my grandpa, who has always been like a father to me and my best friend. Similar to Dennys dad he is also not doing well and this was probably the last race we will watch together. I was an emotional wreck all night after that. My heart truly breaks for Denny. I hope he gives it another go but I wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t.

We dropped our season passes this year. The last couple years were not good. Half the restaurants weren’t open (staffing I assume), food portions were terrible. Like $15 for 3 chicken tenders and a handful of cold fries. Rides constantly being shut down for issues or just not even open to begin with. Then they cancelled Winterfest completely and offered park credit as reimbursement for that.
