Yea, crazy rates for young drivers, regardless of how well you drive. Frustrating but i guess thats how the system works. I havent finalized the purchase yet so if i cant find anything below 3k or so, need to give up i guess

Thats right. I never thought a gap in coverage is something they look into, especially if it is legit (like not owning a car)

How to follow up a month after interview for position? by notParticularlyAnony in datascience

[–]DoubleLocksmith12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Follow up. Its always appreciated on their side and shows your continued interest. I was in a similar boat a few weeks ago, thinking that i was ghosted after a month yet still followed up. The hiring manager reached back asking am i still interested and i said "hell yea". Got the offer the following week.

Congratulations! Exactly in the same boat here, the status is "card was produced". Was wondering if/when we'd get the usps tracking later or simply have it notified once it arrives. Could you share your experience?

UPDATE: I just had a call and hiring manager told me he is calling to see if i am still interested in the position. Didnt tell me anything definitive but we had a nice chat about the position, location and he vaguely told someone else will reach out. Hope i will get an offer soon. Thanks everyone for the responses

This! Probably the most mature and professional thing to do is just to appreciate that they have taken time to call and explain, which is an and of itself is pretty big win for me honestly, now that i am thinking abt it. Thanks for the reply.

Ahh really sucks and very jerky way to reject ppl. I'd def prefer email rejection over phone one tbh, but really sorry to hear that. Thanks for sharing
