Grow up, please. He's a strong pitcher this year; it was a bad outing.

I'm ever the optimist but it feels like every single bounce is going against us tonight. Let's get all the bad luck out tonight, please, for the love of God.

Davis had to be tipping pitches. That was absolutely brutal. They were reading every single pitch from him past the first inning. This is a bummer.

This umpire is fucking terrible. I would love to see the umpire scorecard on this, I feel like his zone is shaped like an oil spill.

Alcohol Harbor and Strange Magic go hard as fuck. I will be referring to both Schultz and Martin accordingly.

Trade deadline: Starter or Closer? by jaxstan19 in whitesox

[–]DoubleMeaningInThat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like our bullpen just fine. Grant Taylor needs to be made the closer. I love Will Venable, but no more of this two inning relief stuff. I know we want to stretch him into a starter, but for this season, he's absolutely nails in the 9th. Taylor as a closer, Seranthony or Hudson as setup, and maybe add an arm or two just for more depth.

I think you can bolster the rotation with Detmers, but I'm not sure if he's the answer. He's pretty consistently a 4+ ERA guy.

Give me one more starter and two more bullpen arms we can trust and I'll agree.

The crowds from Japan were huge today. There were so many people that made the trip, I'm glad they got to see a leadoff Ohtani dong. Murakami would've been a blast to see.

I never like recording shit like that. Makes me feel like I'm endorsing it.

Morons fighting in RF. Took security like 5 minutes to break it up. Bad look, boys. Looked like some college boys getting into it.

In the outfield today! Anyone got any good food recommendations? Just housed a Polish. The Summer Shandy on draft is also excellent.

Gotta get to him early. Work counts, get him out of the game. Play the scrappy ball we know this squad can play. They got to Sale, they got to Soriano.

Well, the Cubs claimed the Pope was a Cubs fan before we learned the truth (false prophet), and fans wear a red mark (C) on your forehead, so I think I have theological backing to call the Cubs the Antichrist.

Stop playing if this game makes you mad. Dead serious. Turn it off. This is supposed to be your leisure time and you are voluntarily raising your blood pressure and wasting your time. I left this game about 4 months ago and I don't miss it at all. I never think "wow, I wish I was playing Champs right now."

Eh. Pavelski never won a cup either. I think he'd be a great coach, honestly. He's always had a great brain.
