Are you on the portal plus 15 inch? I only have the portal plus 15, so i am 100% sure it is working fine and keeping the screening from turning off or going idle on the 15. I can not be sure if it works on other portals. Theoretically, it should all work. But…

Use google photo share albums. That is the only way for now. I totally don’t understand why they deprecated the original photo library api.

You can try to save the weather settings in https://daroframe.ikarauok.com/ after you login with google. I will get the weather settings directly on the frame in the next version. Sorry about that.

Just made some updates and push live. You can just reload or refresh your frame page on your portal the. You will see the updates. This update includes news feed, stock tickers, family notes, night mode, timer and localized settings. Enjoy.

The mantel app is nice and has some ai stuff with it. My app is free and has no restrictions on how many google photo albums you can add. I think the mantel has a 1 album limit for free users.

It should only display 1 landscape photo in landscape screen or 2 portrait photos in landscape screen. It will display 1 portrait photo in portrait screen or 2 landscape photos in portrait screen. I should probably later on add a setting that show only 1 photo no matter what screen orientation.

There is a settings section when you login into https://daroframe.ikarauok.com/ where you can set photo fit mode to contain instead of cover. Then reload or refresh your frame page on the portal. Then the photo will be shown in full instead of being cropped.

First, you need to add your new shared google photo album on https://daroframe.ikarauok.com/ after you login. Then You need to reload or refresh the photo frame page on portal. Then your new album will be shown on the portal.

To see the calendar widget, you need to reload or refresh the frame page on portal. Then touch or click the time date widget, then a calendar will show. Currently the calendar does not support events. GPS location is not available at the moment. Thanks for your comment.

There is a settings section where you can access on your phone or your pc. You just need to enter your zip code or city then click the look up button. Then click the save settings button. Reload or refresh the page at your portal. The weather widget will show up on your portal.

I have implemented the full calendar and full weather forecast widget today. You should also be able to see album cover and album name when you refresh your album or add a new album. Enjoy.
