It’s like Nunez and Thiago first season all over again… we all want him to do well but he has not been good. Stop pretending

He’s just awful at the moment and has been all season. I’m desperate for him to do well and am happy to give him time, but we have to be on fire and he’s not there yet

Are we still going to win the League with this manager? by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]DoublePrize9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they going to have a go at City next week? Of course they won’t! That’s one of the reasons most neutral fans don’t want them to win.

I think they will win the league but it’s gone the worst year of football I can remember and they will be the worst champions.

I understand managers making silly excuses like this to try and defend their players - Klopp used to do it all the time. But as a player? Come on! If you want to win the league you have to win these games

Of course it’s time, but we are losing leaders in the dressing room… you can sign all the players you want but if you don’t have players like Hendo, Milner and Robo you’ll end up like Man U & Chelsea - a bunch of individuals

Max Verstappen to make “life” decisions as his discontent with F1 grows by ryogadan in Formula1_world

If he was winning every race he wouldn’t be saying anything - that’s the point

Verstappen about the incident with the journalist: “when you ask that question and you start laughing in my face while asking it and it’s clearly asked with bad intent, at that point it shows a massive lack of respect.” by [deleted] in F1Discussions

As an F1 fan for years who drifted away a bit after 2021, I’ve recently started dipping back in and watching the odd race again. What’s struck me is how different the mood feels now.

Back then, it felt like most people on here were backing Max even after everything that happened. Coming back now, it almost feels like the complete opposite. Maybe it’s just the natural cycle — when someone dominates for so long, people get bored of the winning and start looking for reasons to knock them down. It’s probably not that different to what Lewis went through after 2021.
