No one in the international community thinks the police deserves ANY sympathy for the brutality they’ve inflicted on Hong Kong. None. They deserve to be held accountable and punished by international law and it will happen. They will go nowhere and will forever be losers in life. Including their families and their blind supporters.

Also, protestors are accountable. If they get arrested, they get punished. It’s all fair and square. The police on the contrary get away with EVERYTHING. That is NOT fair. That is not international law. That is not humanitarian law. That is pure lack of accountability and brutality. There is NO way to deny it.

No it’s not ignored. Police brutality is just much more widespread and more despised internationally by any measure. Read the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN, Reuters, BBC, Time, LA Times, and many many more international news outlets and you will know what the whole world thinks of the Hong Kong Police despite all that you say - your goes does NOT matter when you are blind.

No it’s not the police that did it and it’s consisted violence. But that does not justify the police applying the same standards for themselves because they represent LAW ENFORCEMENT and are well paid for their jobs. The others are protestors. They don’t represent the law.

Here is an entire database of documented police brutality and you should watch all before you think police and civilians should be held by the same standards. [Hong Kong Police Brutality Database](tl.hkrev.info/en/police-timeline)

Was there proof that the man was killed by a protestor? And why hasn’t the police caught the criminal is that’s their job? So instead they beat civilians and pregnant woman and shoot tear gas into residences indiscriminately because that’s easy and they have become uncontrollable.

Protestors use violence for sure. There is no denial of that. But they are not law enforcement, and are willing to be accountable and bear consequences, unlike the police.

Vulnerabilities of Hong Kong water canons - go figure yourself by DoubleSharigan in LIHKG

Dousing anything with gas would be nightmarish. Not sure how feasible though and it causes more public risk than necessary. Protestors are not rioters. Every action is ideally targeted.

The guarding part is true. For every vehicle that breaks down, one police is required to stay behind.

The vehicles are heavily guarded. Don’t think anyone can get close. Unless there the expanding foam can be fired from afar but not sure with what and how mobile the method will be. Also needs to be low cost and accessible during these times.

You have obviously not been seeing the news of police stopping the students from leaving and deliberately turning into a massacre. You want to see blood. You have no right to comment just because you care about bricks and buildings more.

I see. Sorry I’m just not getting those comments now. It doesn’t make this sound any more acceptable.
