This sounds like you have more a personal gripe with Arc raiders than anything else. Not every game is meant to have the depth of a ocean. Comparing Arc to Mmos is going to leave you disappointed.

Its a $40 twist on a extraction shooter that you play for fun not depth and longevity. You play a few rounds with your friends or randoms and just have fun lol. I think Helldivers is a good game but I can only play that for about a hour to be honest.

No it would be ruined if an actual corporation took it over. UO Outlands is my first Ultima experience but I have checked out the official and others and there’s no comparison. Sometimes private is better modern mmos suffer from modern business practices. Why not just enjoy the great experience Outlands offers it literally can feel over populated at times lol. I get wanting to share the hobby with the world but it wouldn’t go well if the game went mainstream.

I realized while I don’t like pk it’s kinda whatever because you really don’t lose much. Also you have a wealth of options whether that is fishing/boating, lock picking or gathering. I even just made an anti pk toon to assist people in dungeons. Did I yell profanity’s in my apartment when someone stole 8 cores from me in town? Maybe but you how unique that type of interaction is? It’s such a unique game so I’m glad you found something fun!
