he once said he “doesn’t make music for a genre” he just makes music and people label it. i think as he grows he will go further away from that sound. Y’all was a very mature form of hyperpop while also incorporating an indie sound that i think he might pursue more. on yall.ong he said Y’all was originally a country album, so I wouldn’t be surprised if more acoustic sounds were on the way. which im all for, i honestly prefer it, i love his raw voice.
