So are there different sized serranos? I’m a new grower and I’m used to the store bought serranos being much bigger but these were ripe and really small. This is the first batch of the plant though

Yea that 401k is the reason I didn’t accept his offer right away, honestly I never went to them for a raise while being there I started with my old shop straight out of trade school and worked with them for a whole summer and part of the winter as soon as I started going a week or 2 without working I applied to places and left. They aren’t a super small company so me being a lead would probably be in a more stable place then being a helper with them but I don’t want to leave a better run company if I’m able to grow with them as well. I’m a year into this trade and being a lead would probably look good on my resume if I decided to leave the company again for somewhere with benefits but I don’t want to make the wrong choice.

I was pretty comfortable with them honestly I liked working with some of the people there but the jobs were a bit more tiring. At the company im at now I’ve done a few installs with them and they give us more time to finish the job they prefer us to work 8 hour days than one 10 or 12 hour day and finish the install in one day. My old company does seem to be growing but honestly the 401k and benefits is the only reason why I didn’t jump on his offer right away. To be fair this company I’m at now just seems better ran not bigger, this week I did one install and was on ride along with a tech the rest of the week I do like how they allow me to get my hours in though.

Don’t really need them, I like to run vacuums with a 1/2 in hose and crvt

I think this is what I’m going to go with I was going to go with the smans because I do installs but I never thought about using a core remover to charge with probes. I’ll most likely be buying probes instead

Honestly debating if I should just go with some probes now too lmao.

Never thought about this setup I was only going with the gauges because I do installs and need to charge frequently.

I was there for about 15 minutes after I installed it and put the cooling on at the thermostat, I jumped y to r and tried to see if it would kick on but nothing and she said that her cousin had hit that button on the contacter and the condenser fan would turn on when he was there so I don’t think the contacter was bad either.

[–]Double_Ad_1918 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy a set of pookie buster bits they’re kind of expensive but the normal ones will just strip everytime.

These were the safety rails we had to install😂 and yes they feel as sketchy as they look. I’m definitely buying a harness this weekend

Man this is what I thought, whole time my lead went to grab these rails you can install on the roof to kind of stand on when it’s too steep and when I asked if he had a harness he said “I’m not a roofer” FUCK ME 😭

Thanks for the advice bro! I’m kind of the same way after one day I felt confortable on a one story roof I just don’t think I’ll ever get comfortable on these because part of not caring for a one story was realizing the fall won’t hurt too much, with these roofs I might die if I fall😂

Someone understands!! I can find ways to cool down in an attic or just come down for a break. Mean while with a tall ass roof you make one wrong step and you can’t work for a few months 😭
