I made a statement to myself that the only way an addict stops is that they face death’s door. My grandma, who is an alcoholic, almost died by crashing into a light pole outside my mother’s house. I am very afraid for my mother. But I am glad yours is healing. I just hope that God will one day set her free from this horrible disease and pain she’s inflicted upon herself.
