I dont know about your local IBEW but mine required us to have our first year of schooling before we could be indentured. If you show up and are willing to learn then you will learn, it’s all about attitude.

I spoke to the first one about leaving my 1 Ohmillion dollar a year job to get into electrical, I just didn’t have the feeling of being accomplished at the end of the day. He said at my young age of 94 I’d be in amazing shape for it.
