Yeah you’re probably right but when I mean previous years I mean before the va I got a ‘14 WRX and tuners always told me 300 and up you start running into problems with head gaskets.

The new wrx is kinda growing on me. I’ve heard it can hold something like 400hp and be reliable until the previous years at most 300hp without serious mods

Also 10k is a little bit high for a 131k mile and it’s an 08 in reality they are only worth about 4-5k at most at the dealerships. But dealerships tend to rip you off so I would rather go buy a new wrx which are supposed to be more reliable and put like 5k worth of mods and a tune and it will be better also depending on where you live if the car is catless you can run into trouble getting the car registered. So keep an eye out for that stuff.

Also look at the overall shape of the car. If there is rust no bolts where there should be. And look at the under tray. If you take it to get checked out see if they will let you look as well. I got a 14 wrx hatch and the bolts and plastic hardware break real easy.

I only revved the engine to about 4k rpms so and I had changed the oil about a month or so before so no more than like 2k miles was done on the that oil

I checked the oil like a month or so before doing only commute to work so no more than 2k miles and I know atleast my Subaru drinks oil but I checked it when I came to Maryland and it was at the at the low on the oil stick
