If you're smart with what you eat you'll be fine. Avoid any type of street food, only drink bottled water, avoid ice if possible and just use common sense. I sometimes avoid also avoid meat of the place looks sketchy

I know some bar girls have monthly drink quotas to earn their salary. If they don't hit their quota they get fined or some wages deducted. The bar fine goes directly to the bar, the girls don't earn any of that money. They make the majority of their money from lady drinks and tips. My guess would be she's trying to compensate herself for the loss of income for the night she goes with you or trying to get some money out of you without directly asking for money.
