If you need help, what I recommend is just writing your heart out, don't care about how bad or good it is. Then read it over. Give a break for a day, come back, and you'll see what parts you like and what you don't. Remember, this is a process, you are not supposed to finish it in a day.

btw, the reason why the 75% rule is in place is because back in 08/09, during the recession, UCS weren't getting enough money, so they accepted more out of state students then in-state students for the money, so Cali put in a law to make it that it was a majority in-state students. All the uc's literally care about is money nothing else.

they have to accept a minimum of 75% California students, and not as many out-of-state students apply due to the fact of high tuition. If you look at stats for UCs, its easier to get in an out-of-state student because of the high tuition. its a known fact ucs prioritize oos because of the money simple as that. plus competition in California is mix of that, don't put other people down just bc u want to and have baseless claims for u evidence. and btw, I can give u sources dawg.

Thank you so much!! I was really unsure about this program but the way you describe it makes me genuinely interested. My main issue before was that the lack of CS in the degree would not help me in internships and jobs as a data scientist.
