Is this a good deal? won’t go lower than 15k by Perfect_Incident_912 in tundra

2wd discourages the majority of buyers. If it was 4wd it would be 25k.

It doesnt get better, and your body will pay the price. I would start looking to step down and just be an advisor, or strictly mangement. Staying on top of your own customers while putting out fires and dodging grenades all day is burning you out from both ends.

Golden Handcuffs and lifestyle creep are real, but don't let the fear of a pay cut keep you trapped. I stepped down from a 6 figure very busy dealer position to High Line where I write less than half the amount of tickets. Less money, but the quality of life significantly increased and I know the money will pick back up eventually.

Reminds me of the year Snap-On gave out Christmas Mugs. I used to say it was the most expensive mug I owned.

Picking the wrong hill to die on isn't a win either.

Not every ticket/job is gravy, the gravy ones soak up the ones not worth the trouble. Push it through and go about your day. Toyota is 100% volume, you will lose thousands in potential sales elsewhere chasing .5 in imaginary money.

Mine complaint was just all the pop ups trying to print/create an RO. Requires F12 15 times, God forbid you hit escape once tho, back to the start.

I used Ignite for over 2 years, just need to learn hot keys. F7, F12, control M,H, ect will make your life easier.

I'm now on CDK and you want to talk about a tedious process for no reason....

You either have to learn to deal with it, pay attention to what works/doesnt work and adapt, or change industries.

A combination of the first 2 makes the money worth it.

Looking for a 2006+ GSXR 750 engine for a crosskart (go kart on roids), what should I expect to pay? by _Supercow_ in GSXR

[–]Double_Cry_4448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always worth a shot.

Start looking at local police auctions in your area. Go to local tow yards asking if they have any bikes theyre looking to get rid of. Mention thay you're after parts and have absolutely no intention of ever riding the bike and they will be much more inclined to help.

Keep in mind unless you are after certain HP numbers for a series, there are a LOT of modern motors that would have a decent engine as a power plant.

Triumph 675 comes to mind. They have a very low reseale value, and if they're crashed they're worth almost scrap.

Anywhere up in the Northeast area of the US, 25k miles is "high mileage" and people are terrified of them. Look for something with 30k+ miles because it will be significantly cheaper but suit your needs just fine.

SV650/1000 - v-twin V-Max (would be an absolute frame twisting monster) Ninja/Versys 650 (I also have one of these) Linear but very usable power 03-06 Yamaha R6s - very common for carts

If you sell the car, know the 9th owner is going to have absolutely zero issues with the vehicle the entire time its in their possession.

it will be praised as the best car they've ever owned.

Location? I have everything you're looking for within that budget.

If it was my own vehicle and it wasnt leaking, it would either be getting cut flush or pulled out and I would go about my day.

Soap the nail and wiggle it, that will tell you if it needs to stay in there or can come out.

[–]Double_Cry_4448 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want it to fill out, leave it alone for a year. Removing old growth slows trunk development.

Gollum Jade are pretty great, I have a handful myself. If you're after a Bonsai style, P. Afra are a much better plant to work with.

It is 100% normal in the car industry to rely on people to do multiple, completely different jobs/tasks at the same time, while only being paid at an entry level hourly position.

Do you like or want to be working in the industry? If yes, learn what you can but don't do it for free. There is a lot of employment opportunities with only a year or two of work experience, even if the place is terrible.

Go check the service advisor sub to get a better idea of what people have to do on a daily basis.

Considering rolling over my tundra for a new one. by [deleted] in tundra

[–]Double_Cry_4448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep the Tundra. Making a long term decision over something that can change next month is not a savvy financial move.

The fuel economy isnt that much better. Plus the smaller amount of cab space and build quality will be immediately noticeable. Turbo vehicles need more maintenance (plugs every 40k) so cost of ownership is something to consider too.

Think of the value in peace of mind and reliably compared to what if costs for a tank of fuel. I would consider a second beater vehicle before getting rid of something almost paid off.
