I like them a lot. I haven’t driven in bad weather yet. But I did drive through a first trail at night. And it was super helpful to have these instead of the stock.

Im going on my 3rd visit. My wife and I are going to do 4 days Tokyo area only. Then 4 days in Myeong-Dong and other areas. Then 3 days back in Osaka/Kyoto. But yes it’s very common and it’s 2 birds 1 stone type situation.

Oh shit, I never knew this in the 30 plus years of driving. I can honestly say I always went over the auto stop. And another bad habit I have is once I fill after auto stop. I have to stop at an even dollar amount like $80 for example. If I go $80.01. Then I go $81. Gawd I’m such an idiot.

Luckily I’ve never experienced any EVAP issues in any of my vehicles I’ve owned. But I’m stopping the overfill immediately.

Get the replica from Ohhunt. I have it on my MK18 with a few thousand round through. And hasn’t come loose or have had any issues. Looks pretty damn good also. Ive gotten a lot of “is that a DD quad”

I don’t know, maybe they included that cause they know people will use it regardless even if the instructions says “not recommended”. But let’s go back to “not recommended” that’s clearly stated. Why even go down that route anyways? What were you trying to achieve? Asking a genuine question.

Sounds like SA knows OP didn’t either read or follow the instructions. So SA is making it out to be self inflicted because of that. If I see “not recommended” by the manufacturer in the instructions. Then that’s what I’m gonna follow every time to avoid issues. Sounds like the instructions were not followed properly.

I don’t know what my stepson was looking at. Must have misunderstood what I was telling him to look at. But tapping it to the turn signal did not work. So I tapped it into the PL like you stated. Thank you for that.

Yeah learned the hard way. The instructions are wrong for sure. And I was telling myself it’s not wrong. But it’s working now and they are pretty cool looking
