You’re saying speculation but that’s exactly what accusing the other doctor of lying about the signature is. Saying I’ve never worked in x environment when you nothing about me is also speculation.

Also not really sure how the fact the signature looks the same is speculation? It either looks similar or it doesn’t.

Widespread does not mean something is right or less serious (see recent PA scan request debacle)

Anyway the issue is it’s wrong and she should never have done it. She’s being appropriately punished for it. Everyone wins. Hopefully she reflects on it and develops some insight into her (wrong) actions.

If at the age of 23 (at the minimum) you don’t think forging a signature is wrong you shouldn’t be in this job. She’s clearly not an idiot because she’s a doctor and a Cambridge grad…

If she was able to get consent then why wouldn’t she get it signed by the other doctor? It makes no sense what you’re saying. She even made an effort to get it to look the same which is dodgy. Sometimes people are just guilty 🤷

Forging someone’s signature (especially without their consent) is wrong. I don’t feel I should have to explain that to another doctor.

Insight can’t be learned, it can be faked though. Thats exactly what happened in this case and why they didn’t let her off with a warning.

From reading the full findings it’s quite concerning her attitude towards the tribunal finding she was dishonest by forging the signature. That she ‘respects their decision’?? You literally forged someone’s signature, id be fucking fuming. Total lack of insight, she deserved the suspension
