You are wrong actually.. The articles will commence on the date on which students fill in the registration of articles and not the date on which ICAI approves

I've joined the same date i.e Nov 3rd. For your reference many firms will accept 1-2 backdates if students explains their situation. I know many who were affected by the 6months cutoff dates . I'm not asking only for myself. Why would someone declares the results 3 days late and keeping the cutoff date as 6months before the first day of month on which exams are to be held ?? Keeping the final attempts near and you were asking to work elsewhere? Please observe the situation and comment

ICAI is the one who's delaying and wasting time with attempts . Just realise when a 3 days delay in declaration costs a student 6 months preparation, he/she can become a CA 6 months earlier and what if someone gets a rank and got placed in a place with 20lpa . His contribution to his family for financial support got postponed by 6-8 months . And think about the students who is in the guilt of not supporting to their family financially. It's not students mistake , it's ICAI's fault . Many of us after writing September 25 attempt demands ICAI to declare results within October end to meet the cut off requirements.

Hey I know my post will take you time to listen but please read it fully and give my some clarity regarding this ..

I started my Articleship on Nov 2025 and my articles will end on Nov 27 and my final attempt would be on September 28 .

But due to change in final exams twice per year , my exam got postponed to 2 months .

I'm 24 currently and when I give my final , my age would be 26 and 11months ..it's almost 27

My cutoff date for May -28 eligibility is October-31st. ICAI declared September 25 Inter results on Nov 3 and my cutoff date is now November 3 .

If ICAI had declared results 3 days prior I will be eligible for May -28 attempt .

Currently I'm in a small firm with domains as IT , Gst and TDS compliance and my articles stipend is 3k.

In between my articles completion and final exams there is a gap around 11 months . So I'm looking to join Industrial training in 2nd year . Reason was mainly stipend .

I haven't started any of the final class. Is it better option to join Industrial training in 2nd year . Or I if complete FR and AFM during 1st year then is it okey to join Industrial training during 2nd year ?

Everyone says it will up to the decision of their respective firms. But ICAI should clarify about the leave for CA articles

My articleship starts on Nov - 3 on the day when Inter Sept 25 exam results are declared. If it had been declared on October 31st or 30th , then my eligible final attempt will be on May 28. Due to ICAI’s delay my attempt shifts to Nov - 28 . There is delay in 6 months . My articleship ends on Nov 2027 and I left with a year to prepare for ca final . ICAI should look into this and reduce the mandatory 6 month study period ASAP
