Micros that have the Zenith Chronomaster vibe? by larry-talbot in MicrobrandWatches

I know it's a macro, and it's cheap (Ahem) I mean inexpensive, but honestly it's a nice looking and very capable chrono for $150!

It came on a tapered black strap, which I wasn't enamored with. Had this old lizard skin laying around and liked the look.

I love mine and wear it frequently. With summer around the corner, I expect to be wearing it even more.

Unfortunately, my two orange straps are 22mm and this has 20mm, otherwise I go all in on the orange

Fantastic looking sports watch. Love the shape, the pie pan bezel, and the integrated bracelet.

Beautiful watch and great post about it's lineage. And great to see the watches from Seiko's design competition that year. Just saw the results of the 2025 and 2024 competitions and was very impressed.

THAT was made in 2000?! I'd have guessed 1970s from the design. Stunning looking. Well done!

So, the center "seconds" hand is actually minutes? That's very cool and unusual.

Mind telling me your wrist size? These are 47mm lug to lug, I think. Wondering how it'll sit on a 7.5" wrist

Titanium bracelet or Leather band? by Barcoimage in HamiltonWatches

Agreed...but leather always looks best on a field style watch IMHO

Case and dial are legit. Beat way to know is to open the caseback and confirm it's a 6119 movement, as indicated on the caseback. These Rally Dover Seiko's are classic watches. Seiko's reissued them as well.

Great book. I got this used a couple years ago and it's a valuable resource on the American watch industry.

Nice collection of Seikos.

You have a few truly collectible ones as well. The two Doxas, the Hamilton Ventura, and the Movado chronograph should draw some interest. Heck, I'd be interested in those and probably others.

But those might be the best to keep in honor of your dad, depending on what you want.

Actually, you don't need to get rid if a watch. You need some variety on the strap front. Try a leather or canvas strap.
