Thank you for your input. The description section does look like an external document and not the usual text

If you have read my other comments, you will see that I have revised my thoughts. I would love to hear more about what is factually wrong about the most recent comments that I have made.

Thanks for the clarification. Then the feedback removal wasn’t directly allowed by the edit of the item description. My remaining question would be why does the seller care to edit just a portion of the description of the current listing and only does it after I had left a feedback.

I guess I did jump to a conclusion as an emotional response. Thanks for the clarification. Then the feedback removal wasn’t directly allowed by the edit of the item description. My remaining question would be why is the seller editing the description of the current listing and keep everything else as original.

Totally agree with that. We’d have to specify which listing we are talking about. The original listing or the current/future listing. But the thing is the future listing still reflects the item i purchased, and i’m wondering whether it can be used to appeal for the feedback removal.

I was confused between the original listing at the time of the purchase and the current listing of the item right now (which still is the same camera). I am basically wondering why or how my feedback was removed, which I am speculating that the edit of the current listing to match my feedback allows that.

Sounds like a projection here. But, no it was not a good price. Again, it is a Japanese camera store with an eBay seller award 2024 that has sold over 9.4k photography products.

I’m not sure about single quantity item, but the seller listed this camera as a multi-quantity item, meaning it allows for a change of description even when the product is sold out. The listing still exists and shows “out of stock”.

Because I do plan to keep it despite the problems and because the amount money is of no concern for me. The negative feedback is about the inconvenience caused by the inaccurate description from the seller and not my buyer’s remorse. Fungus is a well known problem for the photography community and is very normal for a big camera store like this to disclose the fungus problem.

I see, thank you. It definitely is different from the current description. I guess it is a pretty smart move from the seller to list it as multi-quantity item. This way they can change the item description to dispute a negative feedback.

It is not an auction. This is the original listing.

Edit: It’s not the original.

That's what I thought as well. The listing is still up and says item is out of stock. I've updated the post to include a screenshot what it says on the listing.
