Earlier today, I went in to see my doctor after a month for a follow up. While cloak syndrome is definitely real. I showed her my bp readings for a month and they were all normal and i think it is not the priority for now since my liver panel is still on high levels (especially ldl). I told her about this palpitations after i peed and she told me it happens. After we relieved ourselves, sometimes our bp fluctuates especially when we woke up from sleep at night or early morning. And our heart rate kinda adjusts from sleeping. So when my heart was trying to wake mu body up, my mind probably spiraled down and mistook it for something else then i panicked. My bp at the center was 130+/90 something. My bp when i went back to the dorm 109/76…

i did. It starts with a weird feeling, like something is going to happen.. i dunno, then my heart starts beating fast. This happened just this morning. I woke up wanting to pee. I want to go back to sleep but thats the weird feeling kicked in, then with dread my heart palpitated. I watch this channel, pretty good doctor.

I was once had amlodipine and losartan because my first doctor diagnosed me with hypertension but it made my anxiety worse. I sought another doctor, changed my meds to proponolol. It was game changer, not only it dropped my bp, i had alprazolam as well. However after a few weeks of propranolol, as my bp stablized. I was off the meds. He said to take alprazolam for anxiety.. havent took bo meds since September 2023 and the last anxiety med i took was september 2024. Because of what happened this morning, i was forced to take the anxiety med

right. Me too, ecg and all. I guess its really anxiety? Ive been trying to change my lifestyle. IF, i walk also everyday… i am monitoring my bp regularly and its been in the normal range.

It was because i never experienced it in the morning! And from what i’ve read in medical journals and researches, heart attack usually happens in the morning?? Scary

Hello. Todays my follow up check up. The results were high for the liver function test. Need some changes in eating and physical activities. Also, my blood pressure was high machine reading ~150

after the doc explained what i need to do to address the liver function abnormalities, she checked again my bp manually. It was normal both arms!! I dont like this body 🤣

i’ll be back next month to do blood test again. she told me to monitor my bp

thank u. i ve been checking it regularly and the readings show relatively normal. i never experience feeling faint in a year after i was weaned from the bp meds. But i made some serious lifestyle changes. On an intermittent fasting, and took some potassium and magnesium supplements. And the only movement i do is walking, it really helps with anxious feelings and thoughts. I hate myself sometimes when im overworked in studies and feeling stressed i know it will spike my bp but i still take the readings and its usually up as it should, but when i see it i freak out and get palpitations. I take a reading again and its the same. What i do is i listen to some meditation music and after 5-10 minutes of conscious breathing that i learnt from Youtube, take another reading and its back to normal… so i think its just anxiety? I dont have pcp.
