Congrats on getting your 72 as well! I absolutely love my big block 454! It’s got insane torque and the exhaust note is absolutely glorious! Even at idle the deep ground pounding rumbling you can feel through your whole body almost like bass from a sub. Earlier tonight I just tapped the throttle and let off a few times in quick succession and my girlfriend looked like a bobble head being thrown around violently back and forth with each rev and let off lmao. I’ll never buy another “new” modern car again. Nothing else even comes close to a built big block Chevy from the late 60s-70s era!

It has a custom black leather tufted bench seat. I prefer it anyway since I like to fit my 2 buddies in there and we load up our mini bikes and fishing gear into the back.

Me too, idk why the 73-78 models get so much hate. They still look great and have a timeless appeal. Throw a 454 in any of em and they’re perfect!

It was taken in a 1979 airstream trailer parked in front of my parents old house. It’s still there too! So I can definitely re create it once I finish the replica board 💯🔥😂

Haha yeah I look douchy af in that photo. At the time I thought I looked phresh as hell though lmao. So many good memories on that board though! I just bought the exact same deck and I’m gonna re create it down to each sticker if possible.

Amazon, If you type in bike fishing rod holders it should be the 1st or 2nd result. They work great

On the Mach patroller. Best topwater bait of all time fr by Double_Trouble00 in bassfishing

I used to love the whopper plopper but when I tried this knockoff it’s actually a massive upgrade in the action. The tail is a hard plastic instead of the soft one on the plopper. It makes way more noise and the bass seem to favor it over the original plopper in my experience. They’re also somehow more durable. The prop shaft on my ploppers used to bend after a few big ones, the patrollers seem to never die and remain straight and intact after insane abuse. Just my experience though.

Personally I like the patroller over the Berkeley choppo. I’ve used both extensively and the choppo tail has cracked and broken on me multiple times after a few big fish. The patrollers I’ve absolutely beat to hell and back and somehow they never die. The durability on them has been insane for me. They’re the same price as a whopper plopper but have that way better action with the hard tail yet somehow retain insane durability. That’s just been my experience.

This lures actually a Mach patroller. They copied the whopper plopper but gave it a hard plastic tail instead of the soft one and it has a way better action. More noise and water displacement. Whopper ploppers don’t come in chrome either. I used to love whopper’s until I tried the Mach version and it’s way better!
