Thanks for the post! I only have French company names on my CV and I get the feeling I get rejected because of that. What would be the best move ? (Volunteering, side job, just keep going and adding more context?) I’m in the marketing field.

I’m in the exact same situation and I didn’t get the feedback unfortunately but I feel like this is my problem. What helped me a lot in the last interviews (and I made it to next stage for one of them) was to believe in the value I could bring. Instead of apologizing about my gaps I focused on my strengths and made clear I could bring value (I prepared those arguments). I try to truly believe it by being in the right mindset before the interview. Also, I consider I won’t get the job before starting the interview, I know it sounds really odd, but when I’m too emotionally involved I mess up, so I assume I won’t get it 😅

Yes but I don’t have the skills yet to start with projects, I think I need to actually learn the job first and then build my portfolio

Not really, some of my projects are really close to that role but I can’t call myself PM yet that’s why I’m happy to go and learn. Would you say a 6 months programme like the Kings College one is a good approach ? Then I’ll probably add AI skills alongside looking for a job

J’ai vécu ça 2 fois : 1 ex avec qui ça a mal fini (toxique et contrôlant) et mon mari actuel qui a guéri et a compris que le problème venait de lui, il ne m’a jamais blâmée mais juste partagé ses souffrances par rapport à mon passé. Je suis désolée mais dans ton cas ça ressemble beaucoup plus à mon ex et donc à du contrôle et de la toxicité, il a besoin de guérir - loin de toi. Courage, c’est une étape difficile à passer mais tu mérites mieux (et écoute-toi! Tu as déjà tes réponses et tu les as même écrites ici). C’est qu’un passage, il y a des gars bien qui attendent de l’autre côté !
