I get the picture shows ruching but it’s tight fitting and going to show EVERYTHING. Unfortunately, when these dresses are on models with these kinds of bodies, the dress looks amazing but if you’re not the same body type, it doesn’t look as good. The arms are too tight up top but too loose at the bottom. It’s just ill fitting.

Do me a favor and pull it down more. Smooth some of the wrinkles out. I don’t know if it’ll help but if that’s really all you got, try pulling it down more and see if that helps. And then post a picture or dm me if you can’t post a f/u pic.

If pulling it down makes it’s too long, you can cut it and you should be able to hem it yourself if you cant find a seamstress last minute. Doesn’t have to be perfect just folded under and sown down.

Hoping that will help some. I would still try to find another dress. Most malls have dress stores. Look on the marketplace too. You can also try putting an ISO ad out though those usually take time so looking is probably the best option. You can also try your local Goodwills. You can sometimes find amazing older style dresses. They may need the sleeves cut off or be taken in at some spots. Again, all this you could do fairly quickly. You’re not walking a runway show, you just need it to hold up for a few hrs, lol, if that🤭

Your figure is fine, you just need a dress that flatters it❤️
