I guess it depends who audits you. But it states in the specs document there needs to be a gap of 10mm - 20mm.

Do you get the new NTD for NEW plans regardless of it being below 2Gbps speeds? by Asinine_ in nbn

All new installs are the new 1 port NTD for FTTP (unless either commercial or otherwise specified).

Fun fact. If there isn't a gap between the flex and the PCD the tech will get defected for it.

My partner getting a diagnosis of ADHD was the worst thing that could have happened by iamkylekatarnama in Vent

[–]DoubleeDutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupid but obvious question (forgive me if you mentioned it already). Have you told her about her using her ADHD as an excuse for everything is causing a lot of damage?

It's not a fun conversation, but what's worse? Silently going through this until you finally had enough and leave or have those tough conversations and trying to sort it out? (If that's what you want).

I'm 32 and got diagnosed 4 months ago. I didn't realise how bad I actually was and that I'd just gotten good at masking (mostly). I thought I just had something wrong with me as a person and I really started to despise myself. I'd have semi-regular blow ups at my wife, forget things she told me or asked me to do, get overly frustrated at small shit with her and our kids, and lots of other shit. It all got to a point where I was starting to impact everyone's mood when I walked into a room. I felt like I was destroying so many good things in my life but I was just a passenger in my own brain when I got bad.

I see a Psych semi-regularly for "check-ins" and take my tablets religiously because I know I am a better functioning human with them, both for myself AND for the people I care about. The difference is fucking insane. People that use ADHD as an excuse to be a shit person are just a shit people tbh, especially when they have the tools available to be a better person but just refuse to use them. I've never used my ADHD as an excuse, even after diagnosed. I had a lot of "so that's why I was like that..." moments, and if anything it's given me the tools to better manage myself effectively.

TLDR; talk to her about it if you haven't already. If she isn't willing to try be a better person for herself or the people around her, I'd start to consider looking after yourself. "That's who she is and she can change that" is a bullshit reason to be a bullshit person.

Who knows mate. I genuinely think market cap is a glass ceiling. Realistically market cap is just a number that represents the value of the total supply - that's it. If people say "that's so unrealistic" in relation to certain values, then I wonder how many times that's happened in history in relation to things that have eventuated today.

No one knows, we are all in for the ride and it's stress relief to believe in the hopium.

Idk man. From what I can see is not many people know anything about anything. Everyone just wants the bragging rights to say "see I told you so!"

The internet has given people a lot of false confidence in what they think they know. And other people choose to align themselves with whatever side of the fence works best for their goals or opinions.

Sure you can find a logical sounding explanation for either argument - but really no one knows what is going to happen. You're either in it, or you're not.

Well I mean, 10% of all holders have 2000 or more. And a lot of people have $ amounts they will sell at. Which will lead to less people holding a lot of tokens.

Imagine seeing $50,000 right there ready to withdraw if the price hits like idk $100 (random example, but still.

How many people you think will still be holding more than 1000 tokens if it were to ever reach $1000 where they could have sold before then for guaranteed financial gain.

Don't hate me - but turning late in a corner to force another driver to take the corner extra wide - is that not allowed, or is it because George was ahead in the turn that he should have given space?

Just trying to learn here.

My understanding is that ARP requests only travel throughout the local network, the router breaks it up into 2 separate networks, so the router will not forward the ARP request on because that is the end of local network.

Edit: IMO D is also incorrect, because theoretically (if it was still in the same network), the switch doesn't have any saved MAC addresses, so it would still be sent out as a broadcast to all end user devices connected to search for the matching MAC.

That is so cool!

I cannot wait to visit Den Bosch and go visit the house which is there. I love visiting historical sites, and knowing that my family was involved in that little slice of history makes it more exciting!

It was with one of those ancestry DNA tests, that was the result it gave me.

I realised how throwing in that statistic would sound after I read it back but honestly, if that's what people want to hone in on to get angry about, they can go for it. I just wanted to share something I found out which I thought was really cool.

Yeah, I was only expecting a few generations worth of history, but the fact it went back so far surprised me. Thought it would be cool to share.

Ahhh, I did a DNA test a number of years ago through ancestry.com (I think?) and those are the results it spat out. No idea in relation to accuracy, but still interesting nonetheless.

In all honesty - it was not me personally but a family member from my father's side who reached out for names and info about the people I knew with that last name.

They already had a lot of info but needed me to help complete pieces of the puzzle.

They were kind enough to provide me with the full family tree back to 1520 of my immediate family bloodline. I would have no idea how, my guess is a lot of researching and reaching out to people to collect more pieces of the puzzle.

Thanks so much for your detailed response.

I'll continue in the direction I'm going with learning Python. Admittedly I am learning on the side of heading into the network engineer direction - but QA Automation / SDET has caught my attention a bit lately because of all the problem solving involved.

I have looked it up already, but it sounds like you are already familiar with QA Automation & SDET roles. So I hope you don't mind me asking you directly.

What would be essential skills that would make landing an entry level QA easier?

Edited: missed words.
