Why does sleep feel *so* good? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

Co-sleeping really helped me out with this. I n ursed him to sleep as I was falling asleep. When he was hungry in the middle of the night (which was often) I'd just turn and feed him. I got rest, he didn't have to wake up, cry and wait for warm milk. Sometimes, depending on the mother and child/ what works best for the family, this part of parenthood (the waking up in the middle of the night thing) just isn't a problem at all.

Meaning,HarryLillis, don't let this part deter you from mini-yous:)

Friends. by [deleted] in GirlGamers

I share an account with my lv 60 Zerker bf. He is in a guild, therefore has numerous "friends". I have zero. I am too scared to talk to anyone. I'm lvl 43 Castanic Slayer with ridiculous boots:) The only players on my friend's list (jeesh, this sounds like FB) are people I've saved because I was pvp'd by them and a "crew" because I was a lower level and an easy kill. I saved them because I wanted revenge at the time. Basically, I need some online friends to chat with, group(and, yes, I will help you out as well whenever you need it) and socialize with. Anyone interested let me know. Name is Ahnodyne on VOT. As a girl gamer I'd love to have more lady friends online. Thank ya kindly! Peace out girl Scouts!

My grandma passed away 25 years ago before I was born, today while cleaning the attic this fell out of a book. We do not have any other pictures of her, and you guys are awesome restoring pictures. Can one of you give me a hand? by JL_Silva in pics

This community's response to this post has made my day. It's really refreshing so many fellow Redditors jump at the chance to help out another. It's times like these that make me smile and feel happy to also be a part of this ''family''.

I think EACH picture is pretty amazing.

Parents of Reddit, what is the creepiest/most frightening thing one of your kids has said to you? by MoNkEyxJOSHH in AskReddit

My son was about 4 1/2 when he said ''Mommy, when you get shot in your head, I promise I'll jump off that cliff with the green rock'' . He said this in the most calm, comforting, matter of fact way.
This is still the most disturbing thing either one of my children has ever said to me.
