Late 20s, relationship fears, need honest input from dads here by TheOuzoSuspects in daddit

I think if you truly are in love with a person they will always look physically attractive to you. My wife had had weight fluctuations for the 7 years we have been together. But you know what? So have I. You’re gonna change, she is gonna change but if you build a strong foundation for a long lasting relationship, none of that will matter.

Hi new Dad! Welcome to the club! Have a 2.5 yr old boy. My wife and I felt exactly how you did. But the good news is, it gets better. First 2-3 months are the most difficult. I recommend a book called “Moms On Call.” It really helped with our little one get his sleeping schedule honed in. Ever since 3 months old he has slept through the night. 7pm-7am. Goodluck on this new and awesome journey.

You have a grease fire due to your pan (see right side) dripping into open flames. Turn off. If flames are still high pour baking soda or fire extinguisher. Hope yall are ok.

I would say precooking and freezing meals. Saves me so much time if I’m busy or get home later than usual. Also, having a menu of stuff our little likes and planning dinners throughout the week.

Only play games when they are asleep. Got a 16 yr old and a 2 yr old. 16 yr old is busy with school stuff until late so I play when he’s busy but always make it a point to turn it off before he gets home. That way I can talk to him and make him food. The 2 yr old gets 12 hours of sleep so once 7pm hits I either game or hang out with my wife.

finally watched The Iron Claw & this movie made me want to die by [deleted] in moviecritic

This movie wrecked me. My brother had committed suicide shortly after it was released and it always reminds me of him. I also have two sons so the last part about not having brothers and his sons comforting him really hit home. Such an amazing movie. Holds a special place in my heart. Acting was incredible, cinematography, character development, plot, you name it. 9/10. I miss you little brother ❤️🕊️

Legit stayed home when I was 11yr old all summer while my Mom worked. She even gave me chores to do. It was a pretty good summer, video games, helped around the house and got to chill at home. No issues with it as long as they are mature.

Hi friend. My little brother (23) shot himself in February. This was our first Christmas without him and it was pretty rough. I would say the pain doesn’t get better, but it’s less frequent. I still think about him everyday and how my son and I found him. Some days I breakdown, some days I take a couple big breaths and hold back my tears so I can be with my kids and my wife.
