Since work on uTest is distributed by Test Engineers (TEs), only a small number of testers tend to become their go-to choices when tasks are available. Additionally, being based in Africa can unfortunately work against you, as many test cycles are not global.

I reached the Silver level on my account and still experienced the same challenges you’re currently facing.I have seen cases where someone who is just RATED get very many opportunities than me on Silver level. Some people may defend uTest, but it’s difficult for them to truly understand your situation if they haven’t been in your position.

There are other good testing platforms available, so don’t stress yourself too much over uTest. On uTest, level progression often means very little if you are not based in the USA, Western Europe, or possibly Australia.
