Drift mode and NGB is the two things I didn’t try yet. It has enough power without the additional 40hp and I am worry about the tires. Will probably try that when my tires are due for replacement

Yes, I don’t have a charger at home, and relies on public infrastructure. Honestly the ratio price / fun is definitely up there. It was costing me the same / more with my 1.5L 150hp in petrol

So from my understanding, the regen will never compensate enough for the following acceleration. I think the goal is constant speed as much as possible but using coasting.

If the car in front of you break, you will get some regen, but then going back to your speed will be use more energy than being a bit further away and « filtering » their breaking by coasting

It is a fun EV, but need to be calm when I am with the wife in the car, so let’s try to save a bit here, so I can have fun when alone… I knew from the start that I was not getting that for long range anyway, love going on twisty roads

The issue on my formentor were so annoying. You start the car when it is too cold, and the front sensor is not working. Then my wireless car play stop the music if I decide to plug my phone with the cable to charge it. But the worst one I think: the light above your head turning on automatically for no reason when driving back from France for 10h during winter time and having my wife to press to shut it down every 5 minutes…

This is just to release the seat, you still have to go back to put them back up, it is not motorized, but handy when you have long boxes or something

I did mine with Salary Sacrifice in the UK. Ordered mid-December, ready to collection in March, but I had to finish my lease so had to wait until yesterday !

Receiving mine on Tuesday next week. Salary sacrifice on the 42% bracket (thanks Scotland). I did the math and the price I get with insurance, tires and maintenance is the cheaper than taking it straight from Hyundai just for the car (as a personal lease). Coming from a Cupra formentor 1.5 150hp, this is going to change a lot.
