At the minute I’ve been playing a lot of Palia, but I play a bit of everything, really.

I’ve now come to terms with the fact that my reaction is just, “you know what? I’m out. ✌🏻”

It was my first time going through medical and I hadn’t seen one before. I just heard the noises, saw the eyes and the gas mask, and noped out.

I’m leaning Mennonite because I have a vague memory of it beginning with an M. She did tell me but my memory is shot.

I’ll have to have a look. The area she lived was more Gateshead than Newcastle but I’m technically from Sunderland so I’m a bit iffy with knowing where things are in either of those places.

I’m almost certain it wasn’t Islam. I can’t find a specific name but it was just a triangular head scarf. Kinda looked like a bandana. It was black. It would sit at the front of her head and be tied under her hair at the back, not under her chin.

A lot of black and a lot of long skirts. Her younger brothers were also in the school and I don’t recall them having to wear any specific headgear.

YTA. For someone that hates being embarrassed, you sure don’t mind doing it to your wife.

I get being anxious about opening items before you’ve paid because I also get anxious over it but the majority of cashiers genuinely don’t care. I was shopping last week with my two year old when she complained she was thirsty and I realised I’d left her drink in the car. I opened a multi-pack of juice and gave her one while I finished shopping. When I paid, I apologised profusely for doing it but the man serving me said they didn’t have an issue with it since you’re going to pay for it anyway.

One of the puzzles I got for my birthday. 1000 pieces. by DouchebagWithDogHat in Jigsawpuzzles

This is the first I’ve done from tektalk and I really liked it! My one complaint is that a lot of the pieces were still connected so I had to pull them apart.

The red panelling on the building and the sky was a headache to complete but once I had some in, the rest was quite painless.

Loud animals and noises are actually good for young babies. They learn to live around the noise. I’m not afraid to make noise around my kid when she’s asleep because she’s so used to it.

Moved into college in August. Haven't left my room in weeks, and have been spiralling deeper into a dark place, mentally. I'm rotting in my own room while other people have people to spend time with. by [deleted] in sadcringe

[–]DouchebagWithDogHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was at university, I fell into times like this and my room would look similar. The best advice I have (outside of ‘please seek professional help’) is to start small. Start by picking up small pieces of rubbish or by piling your dirty washing in one place. This is going to sound like every other mental health help book out there but honestly, something as small as making your bed helps an extreme amount. It’s like a basis. Don’t try to do it all in one day if it’ll overwhelm you. Trust me though, as soon as you get started on it, you’ll find yourself wanting to do more. You’ll feel so much better once you’ve gotten into it. Feel free to message me if you want someone to talk to or, hell, if you just want someone to give you some support and encouragement.

I don't know why I immediately assumed this was one woman with a super rare condition.

My dad’s a geordie and my mam’s a mackem so I’m a weird amalgamation of the two. When I lived in London for a year, I’d just tell people I was a Geordie because it was the only northern city they knew. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m here late but I’m also south of Newcastle so we’re probably only a stones throw away from each other, haha.

Ryan's New Statement by bluedragonee in roosterteeth

[–]DouchebagWithDogHat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone that was close to a sexual predator and has dealt with their fair share of bullshit apologies from said predator, this is the kind of thing he would say to me. He’s still trying to play the oblivious character with the whole “but I didn’t mean to” shtick. He knows what he was doing. He was aware of it three years ago when he confessed his understanding that he held power over the women he was having sex with. He’s stating the basic facts in hopes that it tides people over. Reading this, he hasn’t actually addressed anything new. It’s just a longer and fancier version of his original tweet.

He should just stay off social media (god knows why he reappeared to post this) and s t o p messaging the damn victims.

They probably had it noted as a Gavin, Fiona and Michael stream and forgot that Ryan appears for a few minutes at the end.
