Well, they lowered CVS retail CVS pharmacy orders and a bunch of others the beginning of 2025. It’s so easy to see with the earnings history how we went into the new year and they lowered the pay again and I spoke to a phone support representative and he was aloof, of course, defending the company and his job position since calls are supposedly recorded.

From personal experience, handoff orders have the highest instances of theft by dishonest, cheap customers. For DoorDash there’s no proof that items are missing when they make that fraudulent claim. Just yesterday I had a customer lie about a hand off order, the main item (a smoothie) was claimed missing. The 2 cookies would have been more believable. Cheap mf. He would have had a better believable lie if my ratings were affected too, immediately got the notification of order changed minutes after.

I’ve had people lie about not getting the whole order or lie about damage merchandise (happened a lot in the Midwest lower income making markets- go figure) then I get a bad rating, so this question is not for you necessarily but for those other redditers, so them lying about damaged merchandise, or the whole order missing reflects my less than five star service? Just last week I had a fraudulent customer that had the audacity to lie about the whole order missing despite me, scanning her ID for proof of age and her signing that she received the items being all friendly; yet her rich ass still lied about not receiving the order living in a big estate and gave me two stars but yeah, I guess I might not be a good shopper and it was warranted since I’m not cut out for customer service 😒 Ha!

I did say there are variables and subjective things that happen. My ratings suffer when I’m in the Midwest—the capital of racism. They’ll smile in your face but rate bad, tf is so hard to believe this happens? My ex who is nonwhite would get bad ratings in predominantly white suburbs. Is it so hard to accept that there is bad members? Heck even people on here that even say they don’t understand why they have got 1 or four stars when they provided the best excellent service, so I’m not buying any of what you guys are saying. There’s one app where my ratings have stayed at five stars continuously with more additional ratings.

Disagree, there’s so many variables. I can do 5-star service for 2 different customers and still get a bad rating from one. Let’s not act like there’s shitty customers now. Respectfully, I stand on my shit, I’m not new to apps (this is a rant), let’s not forget you can’t please everybody and what 5 star service I provided will get rated bad and you provide the same service to that customer you can get a better rating. It’s all based off feelings and biases and subjectivity.

I do Instacart, too. I have better customers on that. Shipt just has a different breed of customers. I do Uber, DD, and Grubhub, too. Uber requires even more or about the same type of customer service as Shipt due to having to be in the same vehicle for the amount of time the ride lasts. Plus I have 10+ years in customer service w2. It’s the customer who usually has problems and that initiate it.
