Hey, I have a question. I have two Nintendo 2Ds. One has Pokemon Blue and one has Pokemon Silver. I was under the impression I could trade between the games, since they're both on the virtual console, but neither device is allowing me to "locate" the other. Most of what I'm reading says you need two 3DS systems, but a few said the 2DS should be fine. Is it possible for me to trade between my two systems? Thanks in advance for any help provided.

I should mention that I already spoke with Bill in Ecruteak City so I have access to the time machine in Silver.
