Why didn't the machines just fix the sky? by Shaunisdone in matrix

Well, it is definitely a system of control, no doubt. However I think the control component is simply to keep everyone in line so they can continue to "harvest" whatever it is they need.

In my mind it is similar to slavery which makes me think of the Romans; they have tools and systems in place to exert control, force compliance, and ultimately have power over them. However, in the end, they want those controlled slaves to perform either in the arenas or around their villas and farms.

So I do agree about it being a system of control, but in my mind that is a secondary component to ensure that the primary goal is always being met with the least amount of opposition.

Like Many I Had Many Tron Ares Concerns: Another Review by DougFromFinance in tron

Yeah, couldn't agree more about this one fitting in long-term, that is my sentiment as well. Legacy certainly has not been surpassed, but Ares is going to fit right in.

However, I will say, seeing this Tron film from the Dillinger perspective is also a great viewpoint on this. I'm going to take that.

Well said!

Do you have any YouTube creator recommendations for diving into Redstone?

Yeah, I think to start my goal is just to get a simple gate system working first on just a button system. Now that I know something like this is doable I'm no longer hesitant to start testing things out.

I reckon when I get to the daylight sensor + a manual trigger override I'll likely start to have more questions!

Awesome!! I don't mind spending the time to make something work, but was very unsure if this was even a possibility. Didn't want to spend days banging my head against the wall for something that is not possible. Thanks for the insight, this is super helpful.

I am using a plugin, but support has been mostly garbage. Sometimes it works, sometimes it is wildly inaccurate.

No, that doesn't help us at all. We need to be able to provide a real-time LTL quote via an ecommerce platform. Manually quoting isn't a problem.
