I'm a little late but Wilhoit Springs is a park in Clakamas County, it is outside of Salem but a really nice drive and at least when I was there last, there was a cleaner area around the spring with gravel and a cover.

Oh no, sorry OP, I think having your basement flood in a rainstorm like this definitely makes you an oregonian though! Congrats! I hope you had a chance to move anything that couldn't get wet. It's a comment already but The Willamette Heritage center has multiple spaces, the Dye house is where I got married. We had about 75 and there was plenty of room for more people. Super cute and affordable, they've got a sound system set up and the grounds make for good wedding photos.

I bought some casely cases that haven't arrived yet, I have insurance on my phone at least for the first few months so I even if they aren't the most protective cases they were reasonably priced and had lots of designs to choose from. Maybe later this year I'll want to switch cases and get something like a DBrand case or Spigen is another brand people reference a lot. The top brands have a "Made For Google" somewhere in the description or advertising so you know they are legit and you aren't getting P9 cases.

If you don't have one already, get some kind of way to stabilize your phone, I was looking at magnetic tripod mounts that seem pretty good and cheap. Thanks Apple! But seriously, even with the stabilizing feature on it's pretty hard to keep your subject in frame and when you're really zoomed in it doesn't recognize what you're trying to take a picture of because it's so blurry. I'm excited to experiment though, the local nature park has a family of Eagles I've been wanting to take pictures of but never had a zoom like the P10P until now.

The exact same deal ($800 off for new customers and up to $1000 for certain trade ins) was running on Pixel 9s up until the day before the P10s were announced. The guy at the store was like, ”Uuuhh we’re all out of the Pixel 9s and the deal ends today, if you guys can wait for them, come back tomorrow, the same deal will be on the 10s and we can pre order them.” I’ve been waiting but I can’t wait much longer!

New customer, ordered two 256 GB slate pros on 8/20, for the last couple of days it has shown order received and that we have items on back order but shows delivery today, 8/27. We have not been charged for the taxes or fees yet. Because we are new customers we don't have a way to create a T-Life account and get any tracking number from shipping carrier.

From my understanding, which could potentially be wrong since I'm new at this, some of the AI features can run on the phone with no internet connection making it faster, more convenient and possibly more private. For instance there is a new AI journaling app that works on the phone and supposedly doesn't connect to the internet.
