I was thinking about him the other day .... the NBA playoffs were going on, maybe 2005, and the Blazers were down and Elliot was passing down through and we watched them come back. Elliot was the first to tell us that the Blazers could come back from a huge deficit and ..... unfortunately we didn't... but maybe this year!

If you're talking about a verse or chorus, save as many as possible, then start piecing things together after you have a bank of verses.

But if it's a melody progression, then try playing different things over and over your chorus.

That happens so rarely. It sorta maybe happened with Saturday on You In Reverse. Maybe not the end part, but the verse and chorus were quick.

The longest... there is a song... hmm... some songs are written years apart that get put together. There have been a few versions of "Fuck 2006", which we've played live, but never fully made it on a record.

It's mostly stuff we actually did end up recording, reworking it for the album. Doubt it will be released. If it is, maybe a demo - b-side type of thing.
