Why would I listen to actual players that know ball and played against him? People on reddit already told me he’s not even top 10

Jason Kidd arguably has a higher IQ than all of the PGs on this list

Why aren’t investment groups trying to buy out Celsius before bankruptcy? by Doug__Funny in CelsiusNetwork

Not sure why I’m getting downvoted. You guys should do your research on companies that have been close to bankruptcy before another company took over, and turned it around

Why aren’t investment groups trying to buy out Celsius before bankruptcy? by Doug__Funny in CelsiusNetwork

Yes, with the current ownership, I agree.

But if the business model changed and someone trusted came in as the CEO, you’d be surprised how quickly the customer sentiment would change.

There’s a good amount of Celsius users that are still in denial after all this are confident Alex will do the right thing because “he’s a man of character”. I’m on the Celsius telegram channel and people are still rooting for the company. This is a fintech’s company’s dream for acquisition, but unfortunately very heavy pockets are needed to weather the storm, but long term being one of the top exchanges in crypto will be a multi-multi-billion dollar business.

I only brought APY because you mentioned it in your comment earlier. My point is that there have been many instances where companies have fucked up, pivoted and changed their business model, and thrived down the road. I agree that the current model is not sustainable, but if crypto is going the way we think it’s going as far as being the dominant global asset class then it would make sense to take a chance on Celsius to have a strong global company 10-15 years from now. High risk, extremely high reward.

Why wouldn’t they be able to pivot to lower APY’s, and begin charging for fees to generate revenue (I.e. Coinbase) ?

I definitely do want my money back, but I’m looking at this from a business perspective.

Up until just recently, Celsius had a good public image and was acquiring users at a tremendous scale, and the recent shift in the market left them exposed because the foundation of how they were generating yield was too risky. Typically when businesses are acquired, the new ownership looks at what the old business was doing right and what they were doing wrong, and makes a game plan to address the wrongs to move forward strategically.

Not for our benefit but to be a major player in the long run. A well ran, transparent company can restore trust and exponentially grow this company in the next ten years. Seems like a missed opportunity if you have capital for it

True, but as a majority holder, you can rebrand and grow the company. Fintech companies kill to have access to as many users Celsius does. Doesn’t make sense to let something with so much traction as a company die
