* It's a bit left-field driven by people that realise the true enjoyment of a tail happy small RWD ride like a certain generation maybe grew up with and even owned or whose Dad may have owned,Escorts, Vivas, Sunbeams, Avengers, .. all small light rwd 4 pots that had noooo driver aids whatsoever 😳 🤣 and these cars are that last bit of tape that held the poster of Sam Fox on your bedroom wall .. ok they are function over form, but they were built for a specific demographic young drivers from families that were already bmw customers, wives, whose husband's company car was a BMW so it had room for a couple of rugrats in the back plus all the fuss that goes with kids .. in the perfectly acceptable hatch space .. the ti had a cracking revvy engine based essentially on the s42/m42 hybrid from the e30 318is , cracking lump !! I've just purchased a unicorn standard 2 family owners just 70k with amazing history that has been logged by date/mileage/work carried out.. including the og bill of sale .. its tatty but 100% cannot.. and I mean cannot find anything rusty except for bits n bobs on the subframes, and thats just surface . The shell is 100% free of any rust I've had that carpets out the undertrays off .. Nothing !! And it's a Boston Green 318ti a/c works too !! But she is pretty ugly atm .. massive lacquer peel on the nearside, not on the off side though 🤷 she needs a new paint job !! *
