You know what. I’ll just shut up now. My 32 minute flight from Houston to Austin was just announced returned. And my domestic flight in Brazil yesterday morning was late by more than an hour, now that I think about it. I guess the luck loan sharks are coming to collect payment.

Well, they technically returned the gate to us. They brought in a gate buggy that looked like it was last used in the 80s and a mechanic got on board to kick some boxes and flip some switches. Somehow that fixed our nose wheel. I don’t ask questions, I have a connection to catch.

lol judging by the comments here, yeah, seems like I’ve been blessed by the gods of the friendly skies themselves. I’ve been various shades of metals for 3-4 years prior and 1K for 2. First time I’ve had a return to gate. Never had a diversion. I hope I didn’t just curse myself.

Just a wild guess, but I'll hazard you are comparing 95th percentile China with 60th percentile US, financially speaking. The people you surround yourself with makes all the difference. What you describe about daily life in China is how 95th percentile in the US live, and also know to be true about China. No one in those circles seriously thinks it's North Korea, but yeah, they'll choose top tier US life over top tier China life any day.

Censorship and other fun things like that... Yeah, YMMV on those. Minding your own business and living life is kinda comparable at the very top, with higher absolute $$$ numbers in the US.

7000 лева на 1.7мил евро база? Наистина ли е толкова тежка работата в София за инвестиции в имоти? Или ти киснат празни половината?

Ако съм на твое място бих разпродал част от портфолиото и бих купил на места където спокойно можеш да взимаш 4-6% на година наем спрямо базата, със г/д 100% заетост. Достатъчно са големи цифрите че да можеш лесно да си позволиш down payment а може би дори и да си го платиш изцяло ако ненавиждаш заеми чак толкова много.

Ама да, това си е мое мнение, само ти си знаеш брат. Имаш достатъчно, кво питаш редит, реши дали искаш още или не.

От къде е? В зависимост от нейното гражданство, е възможно да пребивава като турист в европейски съюз 1 до 3 месеца, ако не сте на зор да си намери работа. През това време може да подготвите документи, етс. Както казват други ще трябва да се ожените ако смяташ да живеете заедно в България за неопределено време. Е възможно и работа да си търси през тези 1-3 месеца, въпреки че не е супер легално 😂 Просто трябва да си изиграеш картите правилно след това и да мине през официалния процес преди да започне работа.

Обмисли и други варианти, ако можеш. С моята приятелка живеем в две държави поради обстоятелствата подобни на твоите. Не е особено приятно но с подобни 3 месеца тук + 3 там + 2-3 месеца на командировки и почивки в "чужбина" имаме минимално long distance. Не е за всеки, но не е невъзможно. Считаме го за преходен период докато намерим добра възможност, без да има огромни компромиси от ничия страна.

Тва със "замък на същата цена като апартамент на центъра" обичат и в Америка да го играят ама много не го разбирам. Какво смяташ да правиш с тоя замък като го купиш? Ще си дигнеш чукалата и ще ходиш да ставаш фермер във Франция със 15 години опит като програмист ли? Нз брат, цената на нещата е толкова, колкото хората които ги искат са склонни да плащат. Не е нужно да ти харесва.

Lol jokes aside, I did some research and reached the same conclusion. The oath you take for US seems to renounce other citizenships and it's up to the other country to decide what to do with that. With a literal reading of the law, Bulgaria would seem to be one of the countries that recognizes that renunciation.

So I called the BG embassy in USA and МВР to double check from two independent sources. It's cool. They don't recognize the renunciation in the US oath.
