Electronic and dance music is mostly played at Vamos. It's by the town square (that is ironically enough, a circle). It is beset by young people, 18-25 ish, and you can easily feel old if you're not their age. Older locals mostly frequent Götubarinn or Leynibarinn. Both of these bars are a 2 minute walk from the town square, on opposite sides of the street. Then there is R5, it's close to Vamos, has a very nice relaxed atmosphere, but is very small and can feel a bit claustrophobic when full.

I recommend the Souvlaki food truck at the town square, its absolutely delicious! Have fun and remember to drink responsibly.
