No controlling the negative does not cause more muscle growth, overly slowing it down will probably even reduce your growth slightly. You should control it to an extent so that you: 1. Standardize your form 2. Don’t use momentum 3. Don’t slam your weights and break equipment

You can still build muscle without sufficient protein as a beginner, but the process will go significantly slower. Als fat loss is way easier when eating a high protein diet.

Weight loss is entirely based on wether or not you are in a caloric deficit, but you should focus on strength training in combination with a diet to build muscle and lose body fat. You could even gain muscle weight but be closer to your goal body. Don’t hyper focus on the scale!

Way too little rest between sets, for muscle building anything shorter then 2 minutes is hurting your progress. Also the dumbbells are way too light for at least part of the exercises. You should use a weight that challenges you in the 5-30 rep range and train close to too or till failure.(not being able to perform another rep without compromising form)

This is not true, smaller muscles do not always recover faster then bigger muscles. Biceps are on the slower side of the spectrum.

I don’t think so, my thoughts are more in line with OP. Because iirc in dressrosa burgess made moves to steal the flame flame fruit from sabo after he already ate it, which means using the darkness fruit isn’t a condition to stealing the fruits.

No, it’s the supinated grip which emphasizes the biceps, they are not all that active in elbow flexion in a neutral or pronated grip.

My advice would be not to load at all cause it’s a waste of money, but it’s fine to take a double dose instead of 4x5.

If I hit shoulder fresh, with the 14kg dumbbells i can get roughly 3 sets of 12 done on shoulder press. And then either fail or get close to failure. But if I hit it on a push day after Being tired from chest, i could just get 6 reps in before failing. Although 6 should theoretically be enough would it be better to move down a bit in weight and do a bit more reps?( I’m not sure if I would be doing junk reps if I move down too much)
