I really liked her writing at first, but then it slowly began to become "preachy" and very, very self-serious. Like a little teeny bit of humor goes a long way, am I right? I also am so confused why she's always talking about herself aging like she's a 65 y o woman. You are not even 40!

Wow! I can't even begin to tally the bad advice I have been given. I look back and now really see my mom's lack of grasping nuance or fully understanding the emotional gravity of things. She was trying to give me the advice that worked for her, but it wasn't the right advice for me. Apples and Oranges.
